This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef and this pooooooor little piggy had none. But this little piggy, this little piggy went wee wee wee all the way home! This is what came to mind as soon as I saw this stamp set! Memories of playing this little piggy with my two boys when they were very young. And now I’m getting to play this little piggy with my grandson Lucas who giggles and laughs just the way his father did! I enjoy watching them together…so much love.
But…what’s so much fun is that everyone loves this cute little stamp set with the pigs and are finding they can make and send a fun card to just about everyone on their card list!
Here’s all the cute images and sentiments in the set. I have to say that the one with the flower is probably my favorite!! How about you?
Comes in both clear mount (red rubber) or wood
Tips & Tricks:
The Layering Circle Dies are a must have. There are 16 dies both plain and scalloped that give you lots of versatility.
Now when I’m coloring I go right for my Blends. Our alcohol markers make coloring so much easier and when you are coloring larger images you don’t get the streaks that you might get with the water based markers. So the kid is coming out in me now…the kid that could spend hours coloring every day! Purchase just the Pink Pirouette combo pack or you can get the entire Blends collection which includes the twelve colors (24 markers) plus the two skin tone markers and color lifter.
The Smokey Slate Gingham Ribbon is beautiful. A classic gingham that can make an ordinary card extraordinary! It comes in two color…Smokey Slate and Night of Navy and I wish….it came in ALL the colors!
Embossing Folders give your projects a little texture and interest. I think whimsy when I look at the Polka Dot Basics folder which was perfect for this card.
With all the pink and gray I needed a pop of color…so of course I went to my absolute favorite Stampin’ Up! color – Bermuda Bay! What’s your favorite color when you need just a pop of color?

So I wanted to share this simple but special card I created for her special day.
She likes color so I knew I had to add color in a pretty way. I immediately thought of our Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper. Of course I chose the prettiest color in the pack…Berry Burst.
Next, though I’m not a glitz and glitter kind of gal, I new there had to be some glitz on a card that marks an amazing milestone. So I chose to create large numbers with our Silver Glimmer Paper using the Large Numbers Framelits.
The font and size of the happy birthday is perfect. It’s from the Milestone Moments stamp set.
To soften the paper I added a layer of Vellum card stock and though you can’t see it in the picture I added some Wink of Stella here and there on the vellum. It made the layer shimmer as it was moved in the light.
Lastly, to tie it all together, I used the perfect ribbon…3/8′ Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. And if you haven’t heard yet, this same ribbon will be in the Occasions Catalog come January in Berry Burst! So yummy!!
Here’s my mom before I was born.
And here she is today in the four generation picture we took at our lunch celebration today!
Mom has always been a beautiful person inside and out. Loving, caring, generous and the best mother and grandma ever. I’m so happy that Lucas is getting to know his great grandma. He adores her!! We both received kisses today for the first time. Opened mouth kisses but kissed just the same. We both did a happy dance!!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Wishing all my stamping friends a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
Today I am sharing cards not created by me but instead cards I have recently received in the mail. Cards from two gals that bless my life on a regular basis. They both used the Painted Harvest stamp set in the holiday catalog but in different colors and different ways. This is one of my favorite sets as I love sunflowers and a watercolor look.
The first card is from my Business Development Associate at Stampin’ Up!, Valerie Gomm. Valerie is not just someone I chat business with but someone that I feel is invested in me, encourages me and gives me a pat on the back for my achievements. I was blessed to meet her in person for the first time this month and of course she came bearing a gift that I will show you all another time. But I have to tell you her card brought smiles as soon as I opened the mailbox. The beautiful non traditional colors, ribbon and foil make such a beautiful card.
The second card is from a team member that lives 500 miles from me and yet has become one of my closest friends…Karen Oster Friendships like this are something I love about Stampin’ Up!. I know many will ask how can a friendship grow when two people live so far away from each other. The answer, I believe, is what we have in common. First, it was Stampin’ Up! but as we spent time on the phone together and at Stampin’ Up! events we found that we had a lot of things in common. Things that make us laugh and ‘carry on’ and just enjoy each other’s company. Karen is an encourager and the best cheerleader a team could have! Her card is in more traditional colors with the homey jute twine that has the country feel that I so love!
I am so blessed! Family, friends, a beautiful home and an awesome craft room make my life comfortable and happy. Add in the extra blessings of my team, fellow demos and my wonderful customers and my blessings are so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am thankful for Cathy Cobb who offered me the opportunity to join Stampin’ Up! over 6-1/2 years ago! I joined for the discount but am now blessed with my own business doing what I love.
I hope everyone eats lots of turkey and pumpkin pie and gets to spend precious time with family and friends. And those that may be struggling this holiday I am lifting you up in prayer.

Craft Fair Projects
Had a fun Friday night and Saturday at our local Holiday Market. I got to meet lots of new people which is my favorite part! I thought today I would share two of the items I had for sale. Two cute little guys with EOS lip balm for noses. Aren’t they fun! I cased them and made a few changes after seeing the ones that fellow demonstrator Selene Kempton shared on one of the Facebook craft fair groups.
There were no directions so there was some trial and error before I had them just the way I wanted them. They sold quite well for $6 each. So now I have a question…which is your favorite! I know which one mine is and it isn’t the one that most people purchased. You just never know what will sell at craft fairs. 🙂
This one is my favorite
This is the one that sold the best!
I have a few leftover that I will be selling on Facebook if you are interested. In fact…head over to my Facebook page and comment which is your favorite
and I’ll send one out to a lucky winner!
While you are there like my page so you won’t miss out on other give-a-ways!!
It was so exciting to see the reveal of the new Stamparatus at Onstage last week! Partly because I was honored to have a small part in the design of this new tool! After input from demonstrators on the Leader 2 Leader group Stampin’ Up! came up with a stamp positioning tool that is not only sleek and sturdy but has features no other stamp positioning tool on the market has to offer! It’s two plates and hinge design is just a WOW!!
Do you struggle with getting your images perfectly lined up and precisely placed! Not any more with the Stamparatus!
Do you frequently create multiple projects? Easy Peasy…set it up once and stamp as many as you want!
Do you ever partially stamp an image? No problem…you can re-ink and stamp again in the exact same spot!
Is it difficult for you to hold on to a stamp block? The Stamparatus holds it for you!
Some great features that will want you wanting your very own Stamparatus!
Gridlines and rulers built right in for easy measuring and placement
Use with both rubber and photopolymer stamps
Foam mat for a nice cushion when stamping with photopolymer stamps
Two clear reversible hinged plates with gridlines – This gives you 4 surfaces for your stamps which is great for 3 and 4 step stamping and stamping multiples
Two strong bar magnets to hold the paper in place – I think I’m going to like these better then the circle magnets
Magnet storage built into the bottom of the tool
Hinged plates for new techniques and stamping of patterns
Two open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
$49 in the US
Would you like to see it in action? Watch the video below.
I’m doing a happy dance because I’ll be able to get my hands on the Stamparatus before most. The project has been in the works for about a year and it was so hard to keep it a secret!
Are you wondering how you can get your hands on the new Stamparatus?
This release will be different then new product releases in the past. We will be using a new reservation system that will reserve your tool and guarantee shipment as soon as the product arrives in the warehouse. Q: How do I reserve my Stamparatus?
A: Normally you order Stampin’ Up! products through the online store; in this case, you will click the RESERVE link on the Stamparatus page which will take you to the reservation page. For step-by-step instructions, please CLICK HERE.
Q: What if I do not have a Stampin’ Up! customer account? A: To reserve a Stamparatus, you must have a customer account. To create one, CLICK HERE and set up your account. You can do that now so you are ready.
Q: Why does it take so long for the Stamparatus to ship?
A: We will place an order with the manufacturer based on how many reservations are made during any given reservation window. Shipping dates depend on how long it takes the order to arrive in our warehouse after the tools have been manufactured.
Q: Will the available-to-ship dates be the same for all markets? A: Yes.
Q: Am I billed at the time I reserve my Stamparatus?
A: No. However, a credit card is required to reserve the product.
Q: When will I be charged for the Stamparatus?
A: When inventory arrives in the warehouse, we will add your reservation to a shopping cart. We will then send you an email notifying you that your Stamparatus order is ready. Once you finalize payment and close your order, the system will charge your credit card.
Q: Will I be able to add other products to my Stamparatus reservation?
A: No. However, once your reservation is transferred to your shopping cart, you will then be able to add other items to your order. Important note: Please do not delete the Stamparatus from your order. We will not be able to add it back and you will lose your reservation.
Q: Will I be able to update my address and credit card information when I open my shopping bag to complete my order?
Q: What if I change my mind and want to cancel my reservation?
A: You can cancel your reservation at any time. To cancel, please see the How to Reserve Your Stamparatus Tutorial for Customers PDF.
Q: Will the tool be available in the 2018–2019 annual catalog?
A: Yes. Once the annual catalog ordering period begins, you will be able to order the Stamparatus as you would any other product. Reservations will no longer be required, and there will be no limit on the number of tools you can order.
Q: Once the Stamparatus has been added to my shopping cart, how long will it stay there?
A: Indefinitely. As with all products, it will be subject to temporary interruptions in availability depending on demand.
Q: When I close my order, can I take advantage of current Stampin’ Up! promotions? A: Yes.
Q: Can I participate in all three reservation periods? A: Yes.
Q: How many stamp placement tools can I reserve per reservation window? A: For customers, there is a limit of 1 per reservation window.
Q: How did we come up with the name Stamparatus?
A: We landed on an innovative name by combining two words that speak to the end use of the tool as well as Stampin’ Up! branding.
Stamp: To impress a pattern or mark (especially an official one) on a surface, object, or document using an engraved or inked block or die or other instrument
Apparatus: The technical equipment or machinery needed for a particular activity or purpose
