Live Laugh Love In My Favorite In Colors

I fell in love with the Layering Love stamp set as soon as I saw it.  Sentiments that I like to incorporate in my life. Today’s is the Live Laugh Love stamp.  I was struggling to remember how the saying went and thought I would google it.  To my surprise there are lots of versions.

  • Live every moment Laugh every day, Love beyond words
  • Live well, Laugh often, Love much
  • Live with promise, Laugh with pleasure, Love with passion
  • Live your life to the fullest, Laugh at every stupid thing, Love like there’s no tomorrow
  • Live life, Laugh lots, Love forever
  • Live life, Laugh often, Love God
  • Live like there’s no tomorrow, Laugh like you did when you were little, Love like you’ve never been hurt

Which one is your favorite?

  • Give your cards a pop of color with the new Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape.  I like to just tear it off the roll…quick and cute!
  • This year’s new Stampin’ Up! In Colors are trendy and beautiful.  And if you’re like me you’ll want every one of the five colors with all the coordinating products.  Can you guess which two are my favorites?  If you said Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum you are correct…at least for now.
  • The new Heart Famelits are called Sweet and Sassy.  Included are both traditional shaped hearts like in my card today or the cute sassy shaped ones.

  • The Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches are well loved punches in my stamp studio.  If you are a beginner stamper or just haven’t ordered both of them yet…what are you waiting for!!
  • A Perfect Touch! A White Perfect Accent added to the layered butterfly is exactly what was needed.

Another cute project right from the pages of the new catalog!

You are My Sunshine!

I am so LOVING the die cut words in the Sunshine Thinlits Dies.  And when you pair them with the Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set you can say just about anything you would like!

  • I trimmed the first layer to 3-1/4  X 5 so that the Sunshine die cut would hang off each side a smidge showing some Melon Mambo card stock behind the Bermuda Bay.

  • Easy!  You know that’s my kind of stamping!  Just a couple of die cuts and your card is complete and ready to add some sunshine to someone’s life.
  • Save 10%!  Purchase the Sunshine Wishes Dies and the coordinating Sunshine Stampin Set and save 10%.

  • Glue dots were used to adhere the flower and word die.  Roll them up a bit and place them behind the thicker parts of the die.  This allows the flower to pop off the face of the card.
  • The new Big Shot Platform adds just the right amount of pressure in the middle of the plate for a clean cut of the flower and sunshine dies cuts.  Use the Big Shot Die Brush to remove the little pieces that don’t pop out after cutting.

Love You Lots Ladybugs!

I used the new hostess set Love You Lots for today’s card.  It’s one of the cutest sets ever by Stampin’ Up!. No really I think it’s one of the cutest sets EVER!

I can’t sell this set to you but…YOU CAN EARN IT!  At the end of the post I’ll tell you how.

I paired it with the new Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper.  I know…where’s the pink!  That’s what makes this paper so versatile.  Lot of Melon Mambo pink on one side and the other side is black and white and can be used with ANYTHING! Today I paired it with Real Red.

Plus the two one-sided sheets with the Gold Foil are so much fun!  I’m sure you will find so many uses for this gorgeous paper.

After layering a few strips of the paper including the gold foil dots I cut a frame using the New Layering Squares Framelits to mat the ladybugs.  And then tied it up with the New Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine.

There are 19 dies in this set of framelits giving you the capability of layering in so many ways.  A tiny scalloped mat like I used today or mix and match straight and scallop the width you would like.

In Addition to these cute little ladybugs there are 3 other critters that will make you and the person receiving your cards smile.

How can you earn this adorable Love You Lots Stamp Set?
  • If you’re local – Join Stamp Club!  I provide a free class each month and you place a minimum order of $20.  Once during the club rotation you earn $30 in Stampin’ Rewards!  And since this set is only $9 of you rewards you get to choose this set and others goodies too. Plus stamp club is a lot of FUN!!
  • Host your own stamping party or private card class.  You invite your family and friends to join you for a fun time of stamping and I do all the work.  Let’s make it a sip and stamp evening or cards and chocolate. You decide!
  • Host a ‘book party’!  If you don’t want to actually host a party or class then just show the catalog and samples to your friends, family and co-workers and collect orders.  I will provide you with a cute basket filled with samples, catalogs, order forms, and a cute little gift to give to each person that orders. Remember even if they aren’t crafters every home can use a good paper trimmer and sharp pair of scissors.  Or ribbon to tie in the little one’s hair!
  • Not sure you want to do any of the above.  Then just place your own $150 order!  It’s easy to do because there are so many wonderful products in the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog!  You may find it difficult keeping it to $150.  I know I did!

Stampin’ Up!’s Bloomin’ Love Bundle

The new Blooming’ Heart intricate heart die is to die for!

It’s gorgeous no matter what paper you use.

And when you purchase it with the Bloomin’ Love stamp set as a bundle you have everything you need to make beautiful cards and you save 15%.

For every $50 you purchase you earn a Free product from the Sale-a-bration Catalog.

If you take a close look at my card today you will notice that I actually used two hearts.  During my card classes I tend to grab scraps when I ‘m demonstrating.  And though the heart we were making in class was pink I must have grabbed a different color blue scrap for two of the classes.  So when I sat down at my desk to create the other day I picked up the two hearts to trash them and thought…wait!  How about if I use them and offset them!  Love the look!  What do you think?

  • First, cut two hearts in coordinating colors from the Blooming’ Heart Thinlets Die.  The colors here are Soft Sky and Tempting Turquoise.
  • Then apply dimensionals to the back of the top heart right behind each of the flowers.
  • Rather then removing all the backs to the dimensionals at once just remove the one behind the larger flower at the top to begin with.  That way you won’t have everything sticking together where you don’t want it to stick!!  Off set the top heart slightly and attach at that one spot.
  • Then remove the backing one at a time behind the flowers so you can have perfect placement of your top heart as you attach it.
  • Stamp the flowers and cut with the small dies and attach to the heart with glue dots.
It was fun to see this beautiful card emerge from what I almost threw in the trash!

I love comments and questions so please leave them HERE.

Measurements and Stuff You’ll Need:

  • Soft Sky Card Base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 folded in half
  • Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4
  • Soft Sky and Tempting Turquoise card stock 4 x 4 and some scraps

Hexagon Catalog Case

For my Card Makers Class this  month I decided to case one of the cards in the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.  If you would like to check out the original it’s on page 105.  I kept it pretty much the same except for some of the colors and I used silver ribbon instead of our glimmer paper.  That’s what I love about our catalogs they are just chock full of ideas!

  • Red is one of my favorite colors so the black, gray and crumb cake just screamed…pop of red to me!
  • The Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set and Hexagon Punch are a bundle so you save 15%.  And for me there’s nothing better then a stamp and punch bundle…I love Punches.
  • Stampin’ Up! Punches are not only quality punches but they are also easy to use and lock flat for storage.
  • Those added splatters are of course made easy with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.  Everyone owns this stamp set…don’t they?

So the next time you’re stuck for an idea and feeling like you have no mojo…just pull out your Stampin’ Up! catalog and I’m sure you will find some inspiration.  Don’t have a catalog click here to see how you can receive one FREE.

Wild About Flowers Yet Again

A quick post before running out the door today.  It’s the card I made for my general swaps at convention this year.   The first card is what I started with and then decided it needed a a few more layers.

  • Because I’m more of a clean and simple stamper I actually like this card the best.
  • I used the Wild About Flowers set yet again because I’m loving it.
  • The sweet sentiment is from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set.
  • If you missed my other swap using this stamp set you can view it here.  It’s completely different.

  • So for the actual swap I added a crumb cake layer and the extra Early Espresso partial layer.
  • The splatters were more subtle on the actual swap like in the first card but I forgot to take a picture before swapping and this was actually one that didn’t make the cut because of that.
  • Many asked what color I stamped the flowers…Delightful Dijon just like the card stock and the sentiment on the Very Vanilla.
New WEEKLY DEALS begin today.
The beautiful Venetian Crochet Trim I used on the first card is on sale. And Old Olive Baker’s Twine…you can never have too much baker’s twine!
