Have you tried the Stampin’ Up! Embossing Paste yet from Stampin’ Up!
I’m now thinking what took me so long to open that jar of fun! You can use the white paste right out of the jar or mix in a drop or two of re-inker and make it any color you like. I used Lemon Lime Twist on my first card and love it!
- Make sure you also order the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and the Palette Knives. There are four fun masks to use with the embossing paste. But guess what…you can also use them with sponge daubers and spritzers. Think of all the possibilities.
- When mixing the ink with the paste I find the Silicone Craft Sheet to be the perfect tool. The non stick surface makes for easy mixing and easy clean up.
- Now for applying the paste. Easy as can be. Place your mask on the card stock and apply the paste like frosting on a cake. Then take the long palette knife and scrap off the excess. Gently take the mask off and let dry while you create another element on the card.
- I teamed the paste up with the Cool Treats Stamp Set and Dies. Even though the kids are in school, it’s still summer here in Georgia and a perfect time for ice cream. But wait, are you an ice cream lover like I am…I can eat ice cream all year long, even in the dead of winter!
- The ovals make the perfect backdrop for my ice cream cone and I love the way the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals coordinate. I own all the shapes – circles, ovals and squares. One of the reasons I’m a demonstrator…the discount!

I’m finally getting around to posting today about my time at Onstage Atlanta last weekend. I had a number of Happy Heart Stampers with me at this event and it made the event twice as much fun! In addition to Onstage I was involved in a training session on Thursday night with Integrant Services, CenterStage on Friday and an after party Saturday evening. Oh and let’s not forget the swaps!
This is the sweet and simple card I created for an organized swap at Atlanta Onstage. This swap was all about using products in the Annual Catalog. And on top of that I needed to use the Dapper Denim Flourish leaves I had left over from a mistake! I asked my 89 year old mother to cut the leaves for a swap in July. You can see the project here. She cut 60 before I realized I gave her the wrong color!!! So…I promised her I would use the leaves somewhere in future projects. After this swap I only have a few left. 🙂
I used the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and the splatter from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and combined Soft Sky and Dapper Denim. Using the Precision Plate and the Die Brush make cutting these leaves a snap…just ask my mom!
These are some of my Happy Heart Stampers. Always ready for a good time!
My team gifts for the girls that attended
They each received a covered notebook and matching pen, a bag tag, a candy treat container and post it notes to mark what they wanted in the new catalog.
Gigi Gubernath and I attended CenterStage on Friday evening. This event was for Silver Elite and above.
We had a special dinner and training.
And we received an awesome bag this year!
Saturday OnStage! The excitement of everyone together.
I’m excited…just received the new Occasions Catalog! If you don’t have a demonstrator and would like a copy please click here to request your very own copy.
Prize Patrol! Everyone went home with a prize this event…YAY!!
Here I am walking the stage for earning the Incentive Trip to Thailand! How exciting to have earned it with good friends (Sherri Brown and Monika Davis). A trip of a lifetime and I”m so excited! I want to thank all my wonderful and supportive customers and team members. With out you this would not have been possible.
Would you like to earn the next incentive trip or receive you proudest at a discount? This is the perfect time to take advantage of the ultimate bundle…the Stampin’ Up Starter Kit. Click here for more information or contact me and let’s chat.

When I first purchased the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit it was so I could purchase my products at 20% off. Shortly after, I lost my part time job and had a thought that maybe I should let Stampin’ Up! be my part time job. I remember asking my long time friend to hold my first party and thinking…I can’t believe I’m doing this! I had always told my husband that multi level marketing was not for me when he asked why I didn’t sell Tupperware or Mary Kay.
It’s now over 3 years and I can’t imagine not sharing what I love so much! Yes, I love the actual thing I do…creating with paper but even more than that I love the teaching and sharing. I love the relationships that develop as I meet new friends both customers and other demos. I always tell everyone the only disappointment about the whole thing is that I didn’t know about Stampin’ Up! 20 years ago!
Two weeks ago I got to share at a small scrapbooking crop …thank you Terri! I prepared two make and takes. The first was the Lovely as a Tree reflection card that Terri requested we do so they could all learn the technique. The second was this sweet clean and simple card that allowed them to use several different Stampin’ Up! products, in case, like me they had never heard of Stampin’ Up!.
So with this card they were able to:
- Stamp – the flower and greeting from the Peaceful Petals Stamp Set and the little butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set.
- Color – with the Stampin’ Write Markers which give you vibrant colors that coordinate with all the paper and other Stampin’ Up! products.
- Cut – using our Circle Framelits and Big Shot.
- Punch – with Stampin’ Up!’s quality punches that coordinate with many of our stamp sets.
- Experience – the quality of our card stock. When scrapbookers use Stampin’ Up! card stock for the very first time they almost always mention how they love the thickness and quality.
So if you live in my local area and would like to learn to paper craft or use Stampin’ Up! products to see how they compare to what you already use please give me a call and let’s talk about partying. If you’re not local I would encourage you to place an order and experience Stampin’ Up! products for yourself. Unlike me , a long time paper crafter that never heard of Stampin’ Up!…you now have. 🙂
For those of you that have thought about purchasing the Starter Kit or actually becoming a business demonstrator now may be the right time. Stampin’ Up! has just announced that the Holiday Catalog will be unveiled at Convention this year! Attendees will be the first to score a copy of the catalog plus see, play and wait for it…purchase the products! Exciting!!!

It appears my web hosting service has been having some trouble the past couple of days making it impossible to post. Today it’s finally up and working and I want to share my Leadership Roommate Gifts with you. My two roommates are gals that I have roomed with in the past and I always enjoy their company…Monika Davis and Linda Madison.
The two Tag a Bag Gift Boxes were my gifts to them. I filled each of them with different office supplies that hopefully they will find useful. The Designer Series Paper is the Sweet Sorbet (DSP) from the Sale-a-bration catalog that goes live January 28. It’s one of the many products you can earn FREE with a $50 order.
The tag is a 2-1/2″ square folded note card. Word Bubbles are very trendy right now so I used the Woo-hoo Stamp from Just Saying’ and easily cut it out with the coordinating Word Bubbles Framelits (Purchased as a bundle Wood or Clear). The embellishment is actually one of the paper clips that was included in the box. I then added a small punched heart with a Rhinestone colored with a black permanent marker.
This is the inside of the card. I added some of the same DSP and stamped the sentiment with one of my favorite sets Fabulous Phrases available in Wood or Clear Mount.
This is my gift from Linda. It’s a card set that anyone would love to receive as a gift. She used the same Designer Series Paper to decorate a Wood Mount Stamp Case.
Inside I found 4 matching cards and envelopes with a decorated RSVP pen. Though you could use one stamp set to make all your cards, Linda mixed things up so that we would have lots of samples of the products in both the Spring Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Catalog.
See Ya Later Stamp Set and Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-abration)
Perfect Pennants Stamp Set (wood or clear) and Banner Framelits Dies or purchase as a bundle wood or clear (Occasions Catalog)
Petite Petals Stamp Set and Punch – wood or clear (Occasions)
Banner Blast Stamp Set and Banner Punch (Sale-a-bration)
Cool Kid Stamp Set (wood or clear) and Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
Monika created a hybrid project using My Digital Studio for the the calendar pages and Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Catalog.
Here’s a side view. The wood piece that the calendar is attached to is something Monika purchased at Target and adapted for this project. Very clever!
If you don’t have the new catalogs yet and would like to become one of my customers…email me and I get them sent out to you. Way better then looking at them online. 🙂
I’m having a Sale-a-bration Open House Saturday, February 1 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
If you live in the Jasper Georgia local area and are interested in learning more about Stampin’ Up!, paper crafting classes, or earning extra money doing what I’m doing please feel free to join us. Details for this event can be found here.

I’m back from the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference charged and ready for the new year! It’s wonderful to attend classes, view new products, see samples and swap, do make and takes, and hang out with lots of gals (and a few guys) that love to stamp! This Leadership was especially fun for me because I earned the privilege of attending the Manager’s Reception and it was awesome!
Everyone always looks forward to receiving “the bags” and this one did not disappointment. It’s smoky slate with a chevron pattern on the bottom and it holds lots of items in a very organized way. Hope you get to see it up close and personal.
Exciting announcement about a new product! Blendabilities…Alcohol based markers. These are the colors that will be available first, along with some additional flesh tones. They will bring a whole new look to the coloring of your images!
What we know so far:
- They will be packaged in a three pack. A light, medium, and dark with one of the colors being a Stampin’ Up! color. That means they will coordinate with the rest of our products…of course!
- The price of each 3-pack…$11.95.
- They will be available during this first quarter – exact date unknown and then will be in the new annual catalog come July.
- We will continue to carry the Stampin’ Write Markers.
- I can’t share a pic until the product becomes available.
How’s this for a welcome!
Or better yet being greeted by CEO Shelli Gardner.
Camera trouble and then I’m looking off who knows where. 🙂
A ride on the train through the shark tank tunnel.
Rode the Ferris Wheel and Merry Go Round (haven’t been on either in a million years!) And fed the Sting Rays. Actually I watched my roomie, Monika Davis, feed the sting rays. 🙂 I wasn’t afraid to feed them just didn’t want to touch the food – dead minnows…yuck!
Stampin’ Up! Rich Jutkins on the 65 foot Lighthouse Dive coaxing me to ride for a free stamp set. I told him he would have to up the ante!
The food was amazing!
Mashed potatoes prepared like Cold Stone Ice Cream 🙂
My roomies – Monika Davis and Linda Madison
We ended the evening with a free t-shirt and stamp set and a walk through the aquarium museum. The white tigers were absolutely beautiful!
I’ll be sharing some of my swaps with you over the next days but today I have a few pics of swaps my roommates received. We like to lay all our swaps out on the beds at the end of an event and take pictures. I don’t have info on who created these swaps. Take note of new products in the Occasions Catalog and if you don’t recognize something that’s because it will be in the Sale-a-bration Catalog.
Remember…today is the last day for this week’s WEEKLY DEALS! (25% off on select products)
