Do you love flowers? Do you love bold and bright? If your answers are yes then you don’t want to miss out on this retiring bundle! It’s actually a suite of products so make sure you check it ALL out!
The Bloom By Bloom stamp set has large bold images of fun flowers and the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack has tiny little flowers and leaf punches. Put the two together and you get lots of fun flowers! And then add the Happiness Bloom Designer Series Paper and all I can say is WOW!
Save 10% by purchasing these two items as a bundle. But hurry…don’t wait because they are only available while supplies last up through June 3.
Wow! Right? At first I wasn’t so sure about the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper but as I used it I fell in love.
Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots are the icing on the cake…I mean card!
Here’s a totally different card made with the same bundle. It was a swap I received from team member Natalie Jonathas from Chicago. If you look closely you can see that the centers of some of the flowers were punched from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. I love the simplicity of this card and the fact that she used the same colors in the designer series paper. Tip: When you are struggling with what colors to use on a project pull out some of your favorite paper packs and use the those colors. You can find the color information either on the back of the paper pack or in the catalog.
This was a display at an event I attended the day before Onstage that will give you a few more ideas and reasons why you want to own all or part of this suite.
I love to hear from you! Please leave me any questions you may have or comments about today’s project.

This birthday card was created using just one of the many cute bundles that are now on the retiring list. The Birthday Cheer Bundle has fun images, great sentiments and a couple of awesome dies. Here it is done in Blueberry Bushel. Layer this fun die over a white background like I did or add color behind each package for a fun look. Check out all the stamps on the retiring list and make sure you order any that are on your wish list especially if it’s a must have. Do it ASAP! And don’t forget to order refills and other products you may want in the retiring In Colors. These will go quickly!
Stampin’ Up! has released the 2019 retiring lists and…
you want to make sure you order those items that are on your must have list ASAP!
Items will go quickly with some only lasting for a short time!
Everything on the Retiring Lists are while supplies last!
(stamps will be guaranteed through May 24)
Some bundles will be retiring but you will still see the stamp set. Know that this just means that they will be unbundling the items as far as pricing but you will still be able to get the stamp set and dies or punch in the new catalog. If you would like to take advantage of the 10% discount make sure you purchase the bundle before the new catalog goes live.
With the exception of background stamps, Stampin’ Up! will no longer have wood or clear mount stamps. In the new catalog all stamps will be cling or photopolymer. These wood and clear mount stamps are showing as retired stamps when in reality they will be carried over to the new catalog but as cling stamps. Since they are not marked on the list you can find them on this Carry Over Stamps PDF.

Take a look at this sweet cupcake stamp set you can earn for FREE! Make it look realistic or have fun with colors…the choice is yours. Since I am ‘slightly’ addicted to the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6′ Designer Series Paper I made my cupcake in the fun Lemon Lime Twist color. I plan to make one in every one of the gingham colors. And yes, I again grabbed the black marker and added a little more fun! Just like yesterday’s project. You also get a peek at the sweet sheer Organdy Ribbon that’s also another Free item. Five yummy colors that match the gingham paper!
The way this works is for every $50 you purchase you get to choice a Free Sale-a-bration item. There’s no limit so you can get them all if you like! And make sure you look at the special items that are $100 rewards. All the items in the Sale-a-bration catalog are exclusive and can only be earned free during this time of the year.
So how long do you need to wait before you too can be stamping fun cupcakes? Only one more day! Sale-a-bration begins tomorrow, January 3 and goes through March 31. You’ll be able to view the catalogs here on my blog on the 3rd. Or if you want a catalog to carry with you request one here.
Lots of coloring fun when you pull out the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper! Love the black and white but look what happens when you add some color. The other products I used are also from the Petal Passion Suite. Save 10% when you purchase the Petal Palette stamp set and Petals & More Thinlits Dies as a bundle!
Look at all the lovely patterns. The possibilities are endless with or with out color!
A Few Details and tutorial:
The Stampin’ Blends are a great option for coloring. No streaking and they blend easily so you look like a pro even if you aren’t. I’m certainly not! The colors I used are the Calypso Coral Combo, Daffodil Delight dark , Old Olive light and the Bermuda Bay Combo.
If you are tired of circles and ovals check out the Lots of Labels Thinelits Dies. They make a nice back ground for my bird and leaves
How do you choose what color to make the bird? How about something that doesn’t blend in with the rest of the colors. How about a pop of Bermuda Bay!
You will notice that the die cut leaves are not the same as the stamped leaves in this set. I love that Stampin’ Up! has gone with coordinating some of the dies instead of matching them up. It gives you lots of options.

My card today is one of three cards I created using the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. It’s a new type of stamp that Stampin’ Up! has developed that lays down ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth. I’m not sure how it’s done I just know that it makes the flowers in this image look real. And the best part…you can get this set completely FREE with a $50 order!
Tips:
I kept the color scheme and layout of the card very basic so that the flower was the real focal point.
The image looks great in all different colors but on this card I chose Smokey Slate so that I could add some color using the Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. All I did was color right over the image. If you haven’t tried our new alcohol markers yet you really need to. They make coloring easy with no stress. Take it from a gal that never favored coloring until now.
Stamping your sentiment right across part of your image is something that newer stampers wouldn’t often think to do. I love the single focal point look and It’s a great way to be able to use a larger sentiment when there appears to be not enough space.
Scatter a few adhesive backed pearls on your card to add that little something extra.
I’m having fun giving away the cards I post every day. All you need to do is make a comment and the next day I announce who I’ve randomly chosen to receive the card of the day. If chosen you have 3 days to email me your address. If you would like to join the fun below to comment. Not sure what to say…then just let me know which you use more of…rhinestones or pearls?
Stop back tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another way to use the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set.
If you’re local, you don’t want to miss out on my two upcoming classes this month!

Hey Everyone!
Sharing a swap card I made for this month’s Happy Heart Stampers’ Team Meeting. The theme was birthday and I just love the ‘happy’ in this birthday card! Like the last two days, I’ll be choosing someone to receive this card as happy mail. All you need to do is make a comment at the end of the post and I may be choosing you! You have 3 days to email me your address so I can drop it in the mail. Saturday’s card is going to Mary Ann, if I hear from her soon, and yesterday’s to Sandy. This is fun!
I love black and white cards with a pop of color but in this case pop maybe isn’t the word I would use. Instead, I used soft subtle colors. This is actually a card I cased from the Sale-a-bration Brochure and at the end of the post I’ll share the card so you can see the changes I did make.
Tips:
The Happy Wishes stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set that has 16 stamps for lots of occasions and you can get it free during Sale-A-Bration. It’s one of the special products you can get when you place a $100 order. That’s something new this year and I love the option.
The sentiment is stamped inTuxedo Black Memento ink. I love our Archival Basic Black Ink but I knew I wanted to use Stampin’ Blends to color the flower and therefore needed to use a water based ink so the black wouldn’t bleed into the flowers. If you decide to use ink and blender pens or watercolor pencils then you would want to use the archival black.
The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper pack is all black and white designs. It’s great paper to have on hand because you can use it as is like I did here or you can color it like I did on a card in an earlier post.
The embossing folder is a new one in the Occasions Catalog called the Petal Pair. It’s two smaller embossing folders that are great for adding a little texture to your cards.
I used the lighter shades of four different Stampin’ Blends…Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Old Olive. I used the brush end so I could gently use the tip to catch all the tiny areas in the flowers. You do need a steady hand but with the Color Lifter I was able to push the color back in the design in the few places that needed that.
I’ll be adding a free tutorial for this card to my newsletter next week. If you aren’t a subscriber get signed up today!
This is the card in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure I cased plus another sample.
