The Curvy Keepsake Box…is it something you want to add to your craft room tools? The first time I saw the box was at convention. My thoughts were…that’s a cute little box…but once you make one…then what! But I shouldn’t have underestimated all the talented and creative Stampin’ Up! demonstrator out there.
The first box I made was this Pumpkin Box for one of my Club classes. After assembling the box, which is very easy to do, it was stamped with the line stamp from the Work of Art Stamp Set. Three different shaped tags come with the die with just enough room to stamp a little word or two.
I used leaves from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. Just crumbled up in my hand, opened them out and sponged with Old Olive. The ribbon is the Pear Pizzazz 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon and it blends great with the Old Olive leaves.
The second box I made was a make and take for our Stamp and Embellish Team Meeting. This one would be perfect to fill with chocolate treats and put at your table setting this Thanksgiving. This tag makes a much bigger statement on this Curvy Keepsake Box!
It’s from the Merry Everything Bundle in the Holiday Catalog. There are 5 different tags and the coordinating Note Tag Punch. You save 15% when you purchase these items as a bundle. The Autumn Accents Die was used again for the leaves but this time I added some Champagne Glimmer Paper for some Wow!
My last share today is this cute little pup dog. I’m getting ready for a craft fair in my home town of Jasper, GA on the 15th of the month. Last year I did some dog bone treats that sold well so I thought I would like to have a few Curvy Keepsake Box pup dogs. I looked around on Pinterest and could only find one example of a dog so I did a little experimenting and came up with this cute little guy. I need to perfect him a bit and maybe make a few in different colors. It will only hold the smallest of treats but in such a cute way. (The heart punches and ribbon are now retired which is why I like to purchase and keep just about all my Stampin’ Up! Punches.)
So…do you need the Curvy Keepsake Box? Take a look on Pinterest and it may help you make up your mind. I have a Curvy Box Pinterest Board if you would like to see some of my favorites. And while you’re there…follow me as I’m sure I’ll be pinning some more!
Have a Great Day!
I think I would have to say my favorite deal this week is the Large Triangle Punch. But that may be the case because I’ve been making some Christmas trees with it. Remember to think outside the box!
