Say a little Hello to family and friends to brighten up their day. I just love the Summer Starfruit color against the grey honeycomb embossed background…how about you? Well this is one of the two make and takes we did at my Sale-a-bration Open House on Sunday. I worked long and hard to prepare and I am hoping that everyone had as much fun as I did.
What I can’t believe is during all the excitement I completely forgot to bring down my camera and hand it to someone to take pictures. These are a few I took after the fact.
My thank you for stopping by gift was a cute covered post it note holder.
I had lots of fun making this sale-a-bration banner using the sale-a-bration free Designer Series Paper
Close up of the banner – I actually have never made a banner before and was surprised how quickly it came together.
Book a party and choose a pillow box from the “book to look” bowl. You could win a free stamp set!
The second make and take was a simple but lovely Valentine’s card I cased by Catherine Pooler.
These next pics were taken by one of my downline with her iPhone.
Time spent visiting (Susan and I)
Kim and Sherry
Kathryn Anne did a great job on her make and takes and wants to stamp again real soon.
My downline Gigi and her precious granddaughter – I say…start them stampin’ early!
Mary Ann and Mo stamping for the very first time.
I don’t consider myself a wiz in the kitchen. I’d rather be in my stamp room. 🙂 But I received many requests for two of the items I served and promised I would post them. The first is a recipe from food.com that was in my recipes to try file. It was yummy but I’m so glad calories don’t count at a Stampin’ Up! event! 🙂
Cheesy Salsa Dip (Recipe #43111)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa (whatever heat you prefer) I used medium but the next time I make it I may kick it up a bit.
Directions:
1. In a microwave safe bowl, combine all ingredients.
2. Microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every minute until smooth and heated through.
3. Serve with tortilla chips.
Now how easy is that!!
Stop back tomorrow and I’ll share the Spinach Dip recipe I served and the door prize winners!
Have a great day!
Diane
Thanks for sharing. Some of my very favorite people all in the same room!!!
Your name was spoken…how much everyone misses you! Wish you could have been there with us. 🙂
So glad I got to be a part of this wonderful occasion. Granddaughter was happiest when she had paper in her hands. Hope someone got pictures of our water bottles. Everything was so beautiful decked out in all the Stampin Up supplies.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad you were able to be here especially with Nikki and that sweet sweet little one. She is so adorable but also so gooooood! She sure does love paper…can’t wait to see her with an inked stamp. 🙂 I didn’t even get to see the water bottles. I just can’t believe I didn’t have someone taking pics for me with my camera. Live and learn.
