Yesterday I showed you a make and take card from my open house using the same Honeycomb Embossing Folder that you see here today. Today I wanted to show you how to take an embossing folder to the next level with just a swipe of an ink pad.
- Run the Basic Grey card stock through the Big Shot with our new Honeycomb Embossing Folder.
- Then take the White Craft Ink Pad and swipe it lightly over the front of the embossed image so that the ink only catches the raised parts. You may need to practice that a bit.
- Set aside to dry or if in a hurry pull out the Stampin’ Up! Heat Tool and use it on low to dry the ink.
The rest of the card uses some of my favorite items from both the Spring and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. This patterned paper is in the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper Pack and is one of my favorites this year. I’m a real fan of the color Summer Star Fruit. How about you? And the best part…you can get this pack of paper FREE by placing a $50 order! I rounded the bottom corners of the card with a 1 3/4″ Circle Punch , tied the new 1 1/4″ Two Toned Ribbon in a simple knot and stamped my favorite Vintage Verse. (another item you can get free!) I know you don’t want to miss out on free products – so find your wish list (or sit down and make one) and get your order placed today. You can wow your friends and family with your creations. I love it when people say…”did you make this? and then turn to a friend and say “she made this!” 🙂
The winners of Sunday’s Open House Door Prizes are…
I think my husband felt a lot of pressure drawing these names from the basket. 🙂

One of my favorites is this cute “Oh Baby” stamp. I need someone to have a baby soon!
